Driven by Purpose. Rooted in Practice.
About Tannia Salazar, APRN
Tannia Salazar, APRN, FNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Rooted in Serenity Behavioral Health, a telehealth psychiatric practice serving adults across Connecticut. With a focus on anxiety, ADHD, depression, and trauma-informed care, she brings deep clinical knowledge, cultural sensitivity, and compassion to her work.
As a first-generation immigrant and bilingual provider, Tannia understands the barriers many face in accessing quality mental health care. She created Rooted in Serenity to offer an inclusive, private space for patients to feel heard and supported.
She believes that effective psychiatric care starts with trust and continues through collaboration. Her style blends evidence-based medicine with holistic insight, meeting patients where they are—and helping them move forward with confidence.
