Welcome to Rooted in Serenity Behavioral Health 🌿

Taking the first step toward care can feel big — and you don’t have to do it all at once.

Rooted in Serenity Behavioral Health provides outpatient psychiatric medication management for adults across Connecticut, offered through secure telehealth and in-person visits in Middlebury, CT. Care is integrative and thoughtful, with attention to how mental health symptoms intersect with physical health, lifestyle, and life context.

To get started, new patients complete a brief appointment request form, followed by a short consultation call. This call allows us to review your concerns at a high level, confirm insurance coverage, and determine whether this practice is the right fit for your needs.

This practice is best suited for adults seeking outpatient, non-urgent psychiatric care with a thoughtful and individualized approach.

  2. 15-minute consultation call
All new patients begin with a brief consultation call, scheduled during daytime hours. This call allows us to review concerns, discuss expectations, and determine whether care aligns with outpatient psychiatric medication management.

  3. Insurance & fit review
Insurance benefits are verified, and we confirm that services are within scope prior to scheduling an initial evaluation.

  4. Complete intake forms
If we are a good fit, full intake paperwork is sent securely through our electronic health record.

  5. Initial evaluation
A 60-minute comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and treatment planning session, conducted via telehealth or in person.

  6. Follow-up visits
Typically scheduled every 2 weeks initially, then monthly or every 2–3 months depending on clinical needs.
